First, like others here, I want to say I am amazed at this great VI, and in no way disappointed with it. I am having some problems, though.
First and of most concern to me is this - when I move the mod wheel on my keyboard controller (a Yamaha Motif ES6), and leave it in the full forward position, the sound becomes a glitchy, burbling mess, like a bad imitation of a growl. I can get the Mod Wheel up to about three-fourths of its travel and then from there this bad sound happens. For now I am using careful control of the pitch bend wheel to produce vibrato and shakes, so it isn't impossible to deal with. I do wonder if I am doing something wrong, or if the Motif ES is the problem.
Second, if I rapidly pedal up and down on the foot controller pedal (a Yamaha expression pedal, automatically mapped to CC11 on the Motif itself), the sound gets stuttered, almost as if the sound engine can't keep up.
I'm running The Trumpet in Kontakt 2 Standalone mode on an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz Creation Station PC which is only five months old.
Third, I can only get The Trumpet to work in Kontakt 2 Player standalone. If I launch V-stack on my PC, and select Kontakt 2 Player within V-stack, it can't "see" The Trumpet.
If I launch Kontakt 2.2.41 within V-stack, it can "see" where the Trumpet instruments are, but no matter which ones I select, I get an error message saying the instrument was "created in a newer version of Kontakt, please upgrade your version". I'm running my PC basically as a slave which is connected via MIDI to my Mac G5 running Digital Performer 5.13. This way, I have no latency and no CPU strain on the Mac.
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
